On January 11, 2008, we welcomed our twin boys into the world a little early. I started developing a rare complication during my pregnancy and required an emergency c-section at 33 weeks, 7 weeks early. Originally due February 28th, they were scheduled for a c-section February 13th and came January 11th. Born very small, at 3 lb. 11 oz and 3 lb. 12 oz, they required a 4 week stay in the NICU. Exactly 4 weeks after their birth, they came home, 1 day apart.
